Lens Review About D and G: Different In D and G??






















AF 50MM f1.8D VS AF-S 50mm f1.8G

-This AF 50mm f/1.8 D was introduced in 2002

-This AF 50mm f/1.8 G was introduced in 2011

-Nikon lens names have D and G at the end . Whay Does D and G denote.

-"D" Lenses are an older lens design and they transmit distance information to the camera's metering system.

-"G" Lenses are gelded, which means that they do not have an aperture ring and the aperture must be controlled by the camera.

-Those two lenses are concerned as -D- wON'T FOCUS ON D40/40X/60/3000/3100/5000/5100...

-The -G- lens has a totally new optical formula for nikon better bokeh and better CA control perhaps,Normally NEW formulations of lenses these days are better than those they replace
